This is our NEW WEB based service - that will allow you to order the repeat prescriptions for yourself or your loved ones with a very simple point and click interface.
In our work as community pharmacists, we realised that there are some people who just don't get time to come to the pharmacy every month for their prescription. Often, people are caring for relatives, and the monthly (or even more frequent) "prescription run" becomes a serious burden on their time and a stressful commitment.
We realised that there were also a lot of people in the community who had been assessed for home helps, but who were mainly using the home helps to sort out prescriptions and medications - instead of actually helping in the home.
We also discovered that many people were struggling to keep track of their medicines - and those who had been given "dosette" boxes (packs to help them remember their tablets with the days of the week on them) - were often having to get taxis or buses every week to their pharmacy to collect their box. This was often inconvenient and difficult in winter.
We also review the medication of all over 65's every 6-8 months, to make sure you are receiving all the best medications that follow latest guidelines - and we talk to your doctor about anything that we feel may be of benefit to you.
We provide all these services completely free of any charges (except prescription charges - we can't do anything about that yet!)

The home delivery of OTC medicines is currently under debate in the Scottish Executive. Until the matter is clarified, we are happy to provide consultations over the telephone - you may collect a treatment at one of our pharmacies, or make alternative arrangements. We can only provide the service to people registered in Scotland. Contact us for more information.
