HomeDeliveryPharmacy is the internet name for our company Dickson Chemist.
Dickson Chemist is a family run group of pharmacies in Glasgow, set up in 1978 - and providing services to a large area in Glasgow.
We set up the HomeDeliveryPharmacy service, in response to requests from people who do not live around our pharmacies - still needing to access delivery services for their medicines.
Our main customers are people who are looking after elderly relatives/friends - and don't get time to go back and forth to doctors surgeries.
We also supply a lot of people who are just on lots of medicines - and find it difficult to get back and forth to the doctors/pharmacy. This is often because of work commitments, or mobility issues.
There are various methods of delivery - depending on where you live and what your needs are. It is very simple to get involved - but we understand that many people don't use the internet very well, which is why we have a freephone number for advice or information on the service. 0800 027 0674
We currently employ 6 pharmacists full time, with one superintendent responsible for them all. We also have 42 other staff - ready to help you in any way they can.
Our philosophy is to never to charge you for something that can be done for free - and we feel we are well placed to offer our service to you, with confidence we will meet all your expectations.
Our pharmacists are trained in a varied of speciailities- from frail elderly medicine, to alternative therapies; Multiple Sclerosis; domicilliary care; nursing home provision..... if we do not know the answer to your question - there is a good chance we will know where to look.
