Healthcare
We provide the following healthcare (extended)services:
- Starting up and provision of compliance aids (dosette boxes)
- Reminder system (never forget to order your prescription again!)
- Oxygen deliveries (certain areas only)
- Palliative care (Cancer medication)
- Medication review (we look at and review the medication of all patients 65years once every 6 months or so - to see if there is anything they may benefit from being changed)
- Hospital Discharge service (when you come out of hospital we come to visit at home, check your medication and contact your doctor with your requirements. This is only available in Glasgow at the moment.)
- Collection and delivery of Incontinence Pads from Health Centres (certain areas only)
- FALLS REVIEWS - we can help if you have had a fall or broken a hip/bone since you were 65. Call us for more info.
Mobility Aids
We can get you aids for the home - such as Stairlifts, Wheelchairs, Cushions, Special Beds, Handles, Utensils and many things that can help the disabled to live an independent life. Contact Jennifer on 0800 027 0674 . These are not free, but we can help you get them at cost.
Private Services
We currently provide private dispensing of non-licensed medications to certain patient groups. (Such as LDN for Multiple Sclerosis). This needs to be arranged by calling us over the phone.
We can also supply most herbal/homeopathic supplements- and check their suitability with your medicines. Phone for details.
***We are a reputable pharmacy and do NOT sell things like Viagra, Xenical, Reductil, Cialis - please don't ask us! We do NOT recommend purchasing any of these products online(there are lots of fake tablets around) - we suggest that your consult your doctor for anything like this***
The home delivery of OTC medicines is currently under debate in the Scottish Executive. Until the matter is clarified, we are happy to provide consultations over the telephone - you may collect a treatment at one of our pharmacies, or make alternative arrangements. We can only provide the service to people registered in Scotland. Contact us for more information.
